LetsPick

Privacy policy

Overview

LetsPick is a free side project for group decision-making. This policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

Using LetsPick as a guest

If you join without signing in, we store:

  • The username you choose for a voting room
  • Room content you add: options, column fields, and scores
  • Room metadata such as title, settings, and expiry time

Votes are private to you until results are calculated and revealed to the room.

Signing in with Google

We request access to and store the minimum amount of information required for authentication. This lets us identify your account and link it to your rooms, templates, and history. Your Google profile picture may be shown during your session but is not stored in our database.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, we store your message, category, optional star rating, and the page URL. Signed-in submitters are linked to their account; guests may submit anonymously.

Product usage statistics

When a live room expires, we retain only when the room was created and expired, the number of columns and options, and the number and usernames of participants who submitted votes. We do not retain room titles, option details, vote scores, account identifiers, email addresses, or other private user details in product usage statistics.
